I got this LED drawing board for when my grandkids come ti visit. My 4 years old grandson who loves art had a great time with it. The stand has built-in plastic feet that help it stand that rotate in and out. The board has a black backing that holds the worksheets against the plastic front and there are tabs to hold everything in place, so they don’t fall out. You will need batteries to operate this board. But once you turn this on is when the fun begins. The included markers show up differently when the LED lights are on and there are settings for rotating lights of the LEDs. I see where kids would really love this from ages 4 to 10. This is a great way to have your child practice handwriting, holding a marker to draw, or just having some independent quiet time. This is a pretty cool drawing board and I’m glad I got it for my grandkids.

This is a super fun drawing board for kids that lights up and changes colors, which changes your drawing into many other colors which is great fun to watch. The board itself is nicely sized at 11 3/4” x 8 1/4”. This is tons of room to draw just about any picture you want. You can use the 10 included pictures to trace and color or you can use coloring book pages or you can download the hundred free drawing templates. You put these pictures on the back of the glass and then put the black backing on it to secure the paper in place and then you trace and color to your hearts content. Once your picture is done, you remove the white drawing template and put the black backing back on it and you can stand it up and turn on the lights to see your fun design. You don’t have to use the templates if you don’t want to. You could use this to practice writing your letters or names or doing math problems or just sketching on your own. The set comes with eight fun colored markers and a cloth to wipe the glass surface clean. You will need to provide 3 of your own AA batteries. This also has a nice one-year warranty on it, which gives you some peace of mind. Total dimensions of the board standing are 12 1/2 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches tall. Cute but too futzy, lots of parts. The battery compartment is ridiculous, teensy weeny easily lost screw that takes many many turns to remove and replace. Anyone with arthritis or any maneuverability issues with their hands could never do it. My granddaughter enjoyed taking it apart and putting the paper back in. I picked this up with the intention of giving it to one of my nieces as a gift. It requires three AA batteries to get running, which are not included in the box, so you will need a pack ready before you start.
Powered up, you press the same single button multiple times to cycle through the different lighting options, they are either static colours or go through a pattern of changing colours. The effect is fascinating to see. Depending on which pen you pick and which light setting is active, the drawn lines themselves look to change colour against the glowing background. This makes doodling surprisingly fun for kids, and me. Alongside the light-up board itself, you get a bundle of coloured pens and several template cards for tracing, if you want some guided shapes to follow, which works nicely for anyone wanting to practice outlines rather than drawing freehand, or just for ideas.
When it first arrived, there was a protective plastic film over each side of the screen. They peel off easy enough, but leave a little annoying bit to pick at in the corner. It does come off though.
One minor point. You quickly realise that the screen picks up every little mark. Just touching the surface leaves fingerprints that the light picks up, ams any trace of your last drawing that remains becomes obviously when the light goes on. You just have to wipe it down thoroughly to keep it looking clear. The supplied cleaning cloth is tiny and felt a bit pointless for the job though, so you are better off keeping a regular household microfibre cloth nearby instead. Don't use anything harsh to clean or rub this, as this screen seems to be the type that will scratch quickly, and if it does, the light will always catch it.
Those small cleaning quirks aside, it is an engaging item that works well as an imaginative alternative to phones or tablets. It makes a lovely gift that keeps children entertained and creatively occupied away from digital screens. A very reasonable price too.

There are a lot of these interactive light-up LED drawing boards around at the moment, and essentially they are all much of a muchness. I’ve had a few for the grandchildren, and I love the concept. They are fun and engaging, and hold the child’s attention for a good while. They are also great for taking on trips or holidays as they take up very little room. This one comes with 8 bright and vibrant markers, 10 tracing papers, is pretty in pink and has a stand. The rounded corners are a good safety feature. However, it needs batteries, and for me that is a real downside. These boards should be charged via USB otherwise it gets both inconvenient and expensive having to replace the batteries all the time. This particular board is also one of the most expensive I have had, so I’m not impressed that I have to buy batteries. It works as it should, but for the price you can get better ones. Haven't had it long enough to judge the durability, although it feels pretty sturdy. Easy to wipe clean. But basically just average.

This is a really enjoyable twist on a normal drawing board and the illuminated surface makes even fairly simple pictures look much more interesting.
The 14.5-inch size provides a decent amount of drawing space without making the board too cumbersome for a child to carry around.
Eight markers are included, so there's plenty of colour choice straight away, and the supplied tracing sheets are a nice addition for children who aren't yet confident drawing completely freehand.
The stand is useful because the board can be displayed once a picture or message has been finished rather than immediately wiping it clean.
The glowing effect is particularly good in a darker room and turns ordinary drawings into something that feels a little more special.

I really love the concept
My niece absolutely loves it, and that’s exactly why I got it!
It comes with colored markers and some images to trace, which is really cool. You can also print pretty much any picture you want and put it underneath for them to trace, so there are endless possibilities.
My only reason for giving it 4 stars is the markers. They’re not the washable kind on clothes, so I’d definitely recommend this for kids who are responsible enough to keep the drawing on the board and not on their clothes, furniture, or walls.

Well worth the money to entertain a young child with ADHD
The light board instructions were not as clear as they could have been for me, however, once I worked out that there was a removable plastic coating on both sides of the perspex it was great. Don’t why I didn’t see the little tabs for pulling the covering off! You do need 3 x aa batteries for the board to work, it doesn’t come with any.
It came with different pictures to trace with the included coloured pens, you slotted a sheet between perspex and blackboard, then fold the ears shaped like antlers down to keep everything secure. You can print off your own images for tracing or just doodle/draw on the board. Good selection of colours for the pens. (would like to know if the pens are available to buy without the board)
Grandson has Adhd and autism and has only got sight in one eye, he traced a picture first, then coloured it in, we then switched it on and the colours looked different, each time you touched the start button it changed the overall light colour which changed how the picture looked, green, red, blue, pink, yellow and it also had a setting where it slowly went through all colours.
GS sat for over an hour playing with writing his name and colour changing the pictures he had traced, he never sits for more than 10 minutes, next time he came, he wanted to play with the light board again. He spent another hour playing. So lovely to see him enjoying himself

Comes with everything you need (except batteries*), 8 different colour pens a cloth for wiping clean and some pictures to trace round to get you going and work really well.
It's very easy to insert a picture of your choice to be able to trace over however you like!

This LED drawing board is a pretty fun activity for kids. It’s great for those that like to colour because they can colour the same images over and over again just by wiping the board clean. It’s also pretty easy to use so younger kids can use it with little supervision once they know what to do.
The board does require 3xAA batteries (not included), but the battery space is sealed with a small screw so children can’t get into that. The board could also work without the lights, just as a clear “white” board that children could colour on if the batteries run out.
The light feature is pretty fun, but my niece and nephew decided that it was also annoying to use while they were actually colouring so they tend to use it with the lights off and then turn them on to see how it looks when it’s finished. The board has a couple of really nice features: what look like antlers at the top of the board flip down to hold the drawing in place in the back, there are 2 small legs that turn out so the board can stand on its own, and the board comes with a piece of black foam that fits behind the image being traced at the back of the board to help hold it in place and cover it so you can’t see through it.
One downside is that the lights will show anything on the board, including any leftover marker ink and any handprints (see my 2nd photo). But these marks aren’t as prominent once there are drawings to draw attention.

Fun and Bright Drawing Board for Kids
I got this for my niece to have something fun to play with when she comes over, and she really loves it! It was fairly easy to set up and use, and I really like all the different options for drawing and tracing. The light-up feature is bright and makes it much more exciting than a regular drawing board.
One thing to be aware of is that the batteries are not included, so you’ll need to have those on hand. I also found that the markers can be a little difficult to clean off. They don’t just come off easily from the board, and I found them surprisingly hard to wash off of other surfaces and even little hands. So I would definitely keep that in mind if you have younger children using it and probably supervise them while they play.
That said, my niece absolutely loves it and has had a lot of fun with all the different drawing and tracing options. It’s a really fun activity to have around the house and a great way to keep kids entertained!

I got one for my youngest daughter a while back and my older daughter wanted one too. This 14.5 inch drawing board has been a lovely addition to our craft table. The deer design gives it a playful look, while the wrapped corners feel reassuring and the stand holds the board at a comfortable angle for tracing or drawing.

Have to say a little disappointed with this LED Drawing Board. Having had a few of these in the past (for the Grandkids) I was surprised to see this one actually needs 3 AA’s to power up!? All others before have been rechargeable (USB C). Consequently this one is not off to a good start as far as I am concerned!
Looking at build quality its also not up to the same level as others. While they are all Plastic / Acrylic this one from MarBus definitely looks the least robust. Funny thing is it is also the most expensive at £24.99 (Aug 26).

Lights up well but colors don't always show up with the colored lights
This MarBus LED drawing board lights up your drawing so it looks like it's glowing and almost magical. It comes with paper stencils, a cardboard black backing that you can attach, some washable markers, and a cleaning cloth. It does not come with the three AA batteries that you need to operate it or the mini screwdriver you need to open up the back panel.
Once you have installed the batteries and can turn it on you can cycle through many different colors of lights, purple green yellow blue white. Depending on the color of light and the color of your markers it can make the colors stand out more boldly or almost seem to cover them up.
The cardboard while sturdy was hard to keep securely attached because they were only clips on the bottom. And I wish that the battery had been a rechargeable reusable battery that you don't have to install; that would have made it nicer.
With the black cardboard slotted behind the drawing show up better and the light looks more evenly shone across the screen and still some colors can disappear.
The screen is covered with a film which is a good thing because it had a lot of scratches on it. And it is easy to use once you have it all set up. It helps to cycle through the lights to find the one that works best.
Once you're done with the drawing you wipe it off and start again. This is a fun drawing board to inspire creativity in kids, but it would be nice if the colors stood out better, if the cardboard backing sat in more firmly and if there was a rechargeable battery.

During a recent family reunion, I spent time at the proverbial children's table, and this LED drawing board was a bona fide hit. While I supervised, a 10-year-old took charge and installed batteries to demonstrate to the other kids how it worked, and he didn't need instructions. A 7-year-old with artistic talent used the tracing pages to start and then embellished with contrasting colours for a fantastic effect. A 5-year-old discovered that you could use different colours on each side to make one heck of a light show with the LED turned on. The functions were simple enough and the design safe enough that the 3-year-old could operate it and feel like one of the big kids too. It was also entertaining to watch several adults "help" the kids by standing ready with cloths to clean it off and get in quick "marker tests" to "make sure they all worked."
There was only one downsides: the mess. Everyone got marker smudged on skin or clothes, and the cleaning cloth couldn't keep up with the heavy use. But the non-toxic ink washed off and regular cloths were pulled out to supplement, and I just made sure that any adults wearing nice(r) clothes stayed clear for a little while. It was fine, and a heck of a lot of fun.

Great toy for travel
Wow I really like this tracing board. Comes with a blackboard that you can put behind with your white pattern on and you draw on the clear plastic. Comes with a set of markers that are surprisingly good they are nice solid ink that goes on smoothly. You do need to wait for it to dry a bit before you rub your hand over it. It is dry erase but takes a little effort once it dries to remove with the provided cleaning cloth. I love the way the antlers will hold the back in place and when you're ready to display your art stick them up for a very cute display. Pressing the power button turns on the light in the bottom, keep pressing through the colors and then it will get to a point where it will cycle through the colors. Makes a great night light or bedroom decor for kid. Does need 3AA batteries not provided. And you will need a little screwdriver to load the batteries.

To start. This LED drawing board takes three AA batteries. Batteries are not included. You put the batteries in the back under a little lid that screws down. Which is nice because then you don't have to worry about your kid taking out the batteries.
In the box is the LED drawing board. It has plastic on the front and back that you have to peel off. There is a bunch of special markers. Eight colors in all. You have a little microfiber cloth for cleaning it off. Some instructions. A little card to download more templates and print them out for tracing and drawing. It comes with a whole bunch of templates. Some have fruit. Some have vegetables. Some have animals. There is a little black card to put on the back of the drawing board. You do not have to use it. It's nice to put the stencil in front of the blackboard when you're tracing. Then removing it when you were done and having a completely transparent display.
The LED drawing board has a button on the front. You can cycle through all the main colors. It also has a mode that automatically cycles through all the colors for you. Green, blue, red, white and a cycle mode. I personally find that the white backlight really brings out the colors of the marker as much better. The other colors just make them all that solid color. The white is where it shines.
I did find it a bit hard to clean. Just the microfiber did not really work too well. I ended up getting a big cloth wetting it up a bit cleaning it up. It is hard to get the smudges out and perfectly clean to start over again. But it's not so hard.
What I really like about it is it's vibrant and bright. Comes with everything you need. Makes a great art piece for your desk or dresser. What I dislike about it is that it takes batteries. I do wish it was rechargeable. That said, the batteries l last quite a while. Maybe the next gen can be rechargeable.
All in all I can recommend it. Any kid will love this as long as they are over the recommended age. It's beautiful to look at. It's fun to use. It's Spurs creativity and imagination. It will make a great gift. Thanks.
Surprisingly great purchase — kept my 5-year-old busy for hours
Bought this blue LED drawing board for my kid's birthday, and it's easily been one of the most used toys in the house since we opened it. The glow effect when you turn the light on makes their drawings look really cool, especially in a dark room. The tracing papers are super helpful for keeping them engaged without getting frustrated.
Pros:
Glow effect: The lights make even basic scribbles look awesome, and the stand makes it easy to display on a desk or nightlight setup.
Comes with plenty of accessories: 8 markers and 10 tracing sheets right out of the box meant we could use it immediately without needing extra supplies.
Great for travel/bedtime: Very light and portable; perfect for long car rides or wind-down time before bed.
Cons:
Screen cleaning: You have to wipe it pretty thoroughly with a damp cloth or microfiber towel to get all the marker residue off without smudging.
Marker caps: Make sure to snap the caps back on tightly, or they'll dry out fast.

So much fun!
This drawings board is genuinely SO much fun!! I ordered it for my three year old, but if I’m being honest, I’m not sure which one of us enjoyed it more lol. It’s really nice quality, the markers are excellent, they show up so vivid even just on the clear drawing board - there’s a removable black background cardboard piece, so you can have it be see though, or a black background. Then when you tint it on, it lights up and the colors glow. You can click through the colors or have it automatically rotate through them, and depending on what color setting you choose, the colors of your drawing alter a bit. There are little feet so you have it standing up or laying down, and little ears that can be folded down and secure the background in place, or stand up. It even comes with picture you can place behind the baked to trace which is much appreciated since I’m not much of an artist lol, my daughter loved them. It’s also pretty easy to clean, I personally just used a baby wipe for efficiency, but it does come with a nice little cloth as well. It’s a very cute little toy, and so much fun!
Cute Design and Great Markers, but Limited for the Price
This is the third LED drawing board I’ve tested, so I was able to compare its features with two similarly priced models. My favourite feature on this one is the cute antler-shaped clips at the top, which help hold the tracing paper securely behind the acrylic board. It also includes a black backing that improves the contrast and makes the glowing colours stand out nicely.
The set comes with eight colourful markers and ten tracing sheets. The markers work well, provide a good variety of colours and look vibrant when the board is illuminated.
However, this model is battery-operated rather than rechargeable, and the required batteries are not included. This was disappointing for my children because they couldn’t use it immediately after opening the package. It also lacks the timer and battery-level display found on another board I tested, both of which were genuinely useful features.
The acrylic arrived with several visible scratches, even after I removed both protective films. They don’t prevent the board from working, but I expected a cleaner finish on a new product.
The children still enjoy drawing and tracing on it, and it provides a fun screen-free activity. However, at approximately $40, I expected rechargeable operation or a few more practical features. The clips, black backing and markers are great, but the missing batteries and scratched acrylic lower the overall value.
This LED drawing board is a really fun way for kids to spend time creating without immediately reaching for a tablet or TV. The glowing surface makes ordinary drawings feel more exciting, especially when the different lighting effects are turned on. I like that the artwork can simply be wiped away so the board can be used over and over again.
The set is nicely equipped for getting started right away. Having several colored markers and tracing sheets included means there is plenty for a child to experiment with, and the templates give younger kids some inspiration when they don’t know what they want to draw. The built-in stand is also useful because it lets the board sit upright instead of having to hold it while drawing.
The size is a good middle ground for a child’s desk or table. It is large enough to have a decent drawing area but isn’t so big that it becomes difficult to move around. I also like that it runs on regular AA batteries, so there is no charging cable needed when moving it from room to room.
Overall, I think this is a particularly nice option for a child who enjoys drawing and coloring. The combination of reusable artwork, colorful illumination, tracing activities, and the included accessories gives it more to do than a basic drawing pad. It also makes a fun gift because the light-up effect makes it feel like more than just another art board.
